Get to Know Me
I chose to focus my training on Pilates because of its emphasis on breathing, control, alignment, and purposeful movement. I enjoy using Pilates-based exercise to help people transition from physical therapy to greater confidence in their daily activities.
I especially enjoy working with individuals who want to improve their balance, strength, and overall conditioning so they can remain active and independent. Having undergone a hip replacement myself, I also bring a personal understanding of preparing for surgery and navigating the recovery process. I incorporate Pilates-based movement into strength, conditioning, and balance training based on each individual’s abilities and goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs in the woods, golfing, and kayaking on the lake.
