Jake Peters, PT, DPT
I became a physical therapist because I wanted to help people move with confidence, maintain their independence, and continue doing the activities that matter most to them. My treatment philosophy centers on helping each patient develop practical, consistent habits that support movement, recovery, and long-term health.
During my clinical training, I gained experience treating both orthopedic and neurological conditions. I especially enjoy helping patients with post-operative rehabilitation, sports injury recovery and return-to-sport preparation, pain management, balance and dizziness concerns, and vestibular rehabilitation. My treatment approach may incorporate strength training, movement analysis, athletic development, vestibular exercises, and manual therapy based on each patient’s needs and goals.
My own experiences with injuries while playing football and basketball introduced me to the positive impact physical therapy can have and ultimately inspired me to enter the profession.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy traditional and disc golf, fishing, cooking, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends.
