Get to Know Me

I currently live in Elk Mound (Go Mounders!) with my wife and two kids, Landon and Elly. We are active in the Menomonie community and our kids enjoy watching UW-Stout athletics and they keep us busy! Outside of work you’ll find me deep in the woods or out on the lake, but only when we aren’t busy managing our garden and hobby farm.

I decided to pursue a career in physical therapy because I’ve been on the receiving end of physical therapy as early as high school, both from excellent and average therapists. That has driven me to go above and beyond to provide the best experience for my patients that I can. By providing inclusive and individualized care, the results naturally happen. In the end, the results and seeing the patient’s satisfaction is the real reward.

When I graduated college, my mindset didn’t fit either an orthopedic or neurological realm and I was lost somewhere in the middle. When I started working for Optimum Therapies, I learned that you don’t need to believe in one or the other. The body is a complex network of muscles, nerves, and bones and if we think about one without the other, we are missing the big picture. Whether it’s a sports injury under the ‘Friday night lights’ or chronic headaches, the drive to understand the complexity of the human body is what motivates me to be as good of a therapist as I can.
